Kelly Devine has worked in all mediums of dance as a choreographer and performer, from concert work, television, videos, commercials, and films such as Legally Blonde. Kelly was chosen this year to participate in DanceBreak, “Showcasing the Next Generation of Great Broadway Choreographers” She has served as the Assoc. Choreographer of Jersey Boys (Tony winner 2006 for Best Musical) since it’s beginning at the La Jolla Playhouse. Other theater credits include: Private Fittings, Zhivago (the workshop), The Wiz (assoc. chore.) and the San Diego Opera’s world premiere of Wozzeck all under the direction of Des McAnuff. SNEAUX! (LA Weekly Award Winner in 2003 for Best Choreography), and AnnE Wrecksick both LA and NY productions.
Upcoming: Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson at Center Theater Group’s Kirk Douglas Theater, and Cabaret and Romeo and Juliet for the 2008 season at The Stratford Festival of Canada. Her film and television credits include: The Indie hit Happy Texas, Zombie Prom, Boychik, and 30 Days til I’m Famous. Commercials for Cingular, Oldsmobile, and CVS pharmacies, videos for Pras “Still Haven’t Found” Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, and the 98Degrees/Brooke Allison World Tour.
Kelly is thrilled to be working with Bill Fennelly, our talented cast, and the entire team, on this exciting production.
