Stephanie Klapper Casting's work has been seen on Broadway, Off-Broadway, regionally, internationally, on television film, and heard on radio. Selected recent/current projects include: Off- Broadway: AN OAK TREE (in which she and her crack team are challenged to cast a "name" actor 8 times a week to play opposite Tim Crouch at the Barrow Street Theatre -- the actor can neither read the script nor see the show ahead of time!); Kathleen Clark's SOUTHERN COMFORTS (directed by Judith Ivey); A.R. Gurney's INDIAN BLOOD; Charles Grodin's THE RIGHT KIND OF PEOPLE; and Terrence McNally's DEDICATION OR THE STUFF OF DREAMS, all Off-Broadway at Primary Stages; A VERY MERRY UNAUTHORIZED CHILDREN'S SCIENTOLOGY PAGEANT (Les Freres Corbusier at NY Theatre Workshop);TREASON (Perry Street Theatre), INDOOR/OUTDOOR (DR2 Theatre); THE FARTISTE; A TIME TO BE BORN (both for N.Y.Fringe Festival);  A PRAYER FOR OWEN MEANY (Roundhouse Theatre, MD.); FINDER'S FEE (Edinburgh Fringe Festival).

Her work has also been see on Broadway in the productions of the Tony nominated BELLS ARE RINGING and IT AIN'T NOTHIN' BUT THE BLUES as well as Off-Broadway in the Pulitzer Prize winning production of DINNER WITH FRIENDS.

She continues to cast the seasons for New York Classical Theatre, The Hangar Theatre, Adirondack Theatre Festival, Capital Repertory Theatre, Delaware Theatre Company, The New Theatre, Vermont Stage Company, City Theatre, People's Light and Theatre Company, Round House Theatre, Virginia Stage Company. Several recent independent feature films including THE FEAST OF THE GOAT (with Isabella Rossellini); UNCERTAIN TERMS; ALTAMONT NOW!; FISHING.  Ms. Klapper is a graduate of the Drama Studies Program at S.U.N.Y College at Purchase, and a member of the Casting Society of America and the League of Professional Theatre Women.  She resides in New York City with her husband and two children.
