Producer Michael F. Mitri is a founder and executive vice president of Charter Brokerage LLC, a customs brokerage firm specializing in services to the oil and airline industries.  He also is a founder and senior partner in the customs and international trade law firm Phelan & Mitri.  He is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and Fordham Law School.

Mr. Mitri is a producer or co-producer of several independent films scheduled for theatrical distribution.  He is a producer of "I'll Believe You," which will have a theatrical release in September 2007. He serves as co-producer of "The Moment" and "The Dock Porter," currently in production and scheduled for 2008 release.  Mr. Mitri also is a partner in Stand Up Films, an innovative film distribution company that is backed by several industry veterans.  In his role with Stand Up Films Michael's focus is on acquiring independent films for distribution and worldwide release.

Mr. Mitri is a longstanding member of the Manhattan Theatre Club as well as a founding member and leading sponsor of the non-profit Community Theatre Foundation located in his hometown of Fairfield, CT.
