Emery and Barbara Olcott split their time between Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, Key Largo, Florida and New York City. They are each actively involved in numerous community boards and activities. Barbara currently serves on the Ocean Reef Club Cultural Center board and is the Entertainment Chair responsible for setting a season of activities in the theater. Emery currently serves as Chairman of Ocean Reef Community Association and as a Director of the Ocean Reef Foundation. They have 5 children and 11 grand children. In 2006 Emery co-founded and currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Schwartz-Oclott Imports, (SOI) a wine importing company. SOI is the exclusive importer of the “hot” new brand called (Oops) that is currently being sold throughout the United States. From 1965 to 2001 he was President and CEO of Canberra Industries/Packard BioScience, a high technology and life sciences company he founded in 1965. In 2001 the company was sold to Perkin Elmer Corporation. Prior to that he attended Yale and received his MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Business. Emery has served on the boards of numerous high tech companies and was a Trustee of the Loomis Chaffee School. He has been a member of the YPO since 1978 and most recently served as the President of the Ocean Reef YPO/WPO chapter. Barbara attended the University of Michigan and the New England Design Institute and worked as a professional photographer while raising her children. She served as Co-Chair of the Loomis Chaffee School capital campaign and has served on the Boards of the Hartford Stage Company, Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts and Bald Peak Colony Club in New Hampshire. She is also Director Emeritus of the Great Waters Music Festival, a summer music festival that serves the Greater New England region.
