Thom's recent projects include Masked (DR2), Villa America (Williamstown Theatre Festival), The Lacey Project (Ohio Theatre), Half of Plenty (SPF), Bad Dates (Two River Theatre), King Hedley II (Signature Theatre), Edward II (Yale), Spike Heels (Syracuse Stage), The Mistakes Madeline Made (Yale Rep), and I (heart) Kant (Committee Theatre).  New York designs also include Evensong, Thrill Me, Medea in Jerusalem, Love According to Luc, Brian Dykstra: Cornered and Alone, Ghost Lovers, The Transparency of Val, Strangerhorse, 3 O’Clock in Brooklyn, Forsaking All Others, and Edward III.  Regionally his work has been seen at Syracuse Stage, Williamstown Theatre Festival, Two River Theatre, Yale Rep, Berkshire Theatre Festival, City Theatre, Light Opera of Oklahoma, Berkshire Opera, Pittsburgh Public Theatre, and Spoleto Festival USA.

Thom's work with dance can be seen on the choreography of Mathew Rushing, Eva Silverstein, Karole Armitage, Jonathan Appel, Rebecca Stenn, and Mark Haim.
